A little update on the history

I think I've found a descendant of the family that built our house! I'm so excited about this! I found them on ancestry.com and emailed them today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be able to help me out. If not then I'm back where I started...which is nowhere, for lack of more colorful words :) And thank you again to the people over at www.houseblogs.net for the advice on how to date foundations. I'm going to start working on that next week when I'm off work.
